There are very few things that are a certainty in this world. One of them is that things change. Nothing stays the same. This is precisely the fate that has befallen the X-Men, the Brotherhood and Hellfire club alike.
The year is 2019, and it has been almost eight years since the battle on Alcatraz Island. Both teams thought they faced their greatest challenge on that day. Little did they know what was to come…
The devastation was done, and countless were lost. Many thought the loss of the school as well as its inhabitants would keep the X-men divided, but they were wrong. Ororo Munroe took control of rebuilding the school and bringing its scattered members back home. Months of endless hard work and determination resulted in a grand reopening of Xavier’s Institute for the Gifted.
With a new headmistress and amazing faculty and students, the mutants will continue to fight for their cause proving to everyone they can’t be swept aside so easily.
While the X-men continue to try and repair the damage and distrust amongst their ranks, the Brotherhood have faced their own obstacles. Seeing the damage done to the X-men, they took it upon themselves to strike first, instead of being caught off guard. With the full force of the Brotherhood, the rebellious mutants set their sights upon the M.E.E.G headquarters. Driving the humans out of their building, the Brotherhood acquired themselves a new domain with greater potential and square footage.
Sitting atop their newly conquered headquarters, the Brotherhood welcomes back to their ranks new and old members. Determined to further increase their ranks, they continue to spread their beliefs for mutant supremacy through not only New York and the United States but to the world.
Having lost their main headquarters, The Mutant Eradication & Extinction Group has disappeared off the radar... or so it seems. Taking refuge throughout several of their other bases, the M.E.E.G is regrouping and working to gain control over the mutant population once again.
